Our Mission
At Northeast Narrow Gauge Railroad Society, Inc.,(a 501c3 nonprofit education and history organization) we are dedicated to preserving the rich history of American narrow gauge railroads including industrial, mining and logging operations. Through education, advocacy, restoration, preservation and operation of antique railroad equipment, we aim to inspire future generations to appreciate this vital part of American heritage from the late 19th to the mid 20th centuries.
Consider joining us on this quest by either volunteering on restoration projects in Pennsylvania or Maryland, writing history articles or donating cash or equipment to this organization.
